My Memories Suite Software Giveaway and review

I'm so excited for this giveaway today.  Many of you that have followed my blog know I love to scrapbook and recently started digital scrapbooking.  I used an very old program that was very limited.  I was so sad when my computer crashed and my software is long gone.  You can't image how excited I was when My Memories contacted me to not only review their digital scrapbooking software but also to give one away to one of my readers.

So here's what I thought about it.  First I was shocked by the awesome price (and their is a discount code at the end of this post).  Their store has so many great digital kits that it was hard to pick just a few but your software already comes with several backgrounds and embelishments and their are a lot of really cute free downloads in their store as well.  I was really excited I was able to use the digital kits that I had previously purchased with their software as well.  This program was really easy to navigate and has a lot of options and I didn't feel limited in designing my layouts.  Its really great for beginners but experts will enjoy it as well.  I liked the there is the option to use premade layouts or you can start from scratch.  I tried a little of both.  You can also add video, make cards, photobooks, calenders, and use if for your craft projects.  Here's a few things I made with it.

This was a premade layout.  I just dropped in the pictures I wanted and added journaling in the text box.  I did add the bottom picture myself.  It turned out so pretty (this is one thats included with the software)

Here's a layout I made from scratch.  Nothing fancy but it fits my style.

This is one of the free downloads.  I just added the picture.  I need to go back and add a title and some journaling but I think its really pretty and love that it took 30 seconds to make.

For you non scrapbookers I wanted to share a project I made.  Printables are all the rage right now and this digital software makes it so easy!  I made this with one of the kits I purchased.  I made three different printables using the background papers and embelishments.  Added some text and that was it.  Its so easy.  You just click "add"  on the embelishments you want.  Then move them into place.  It was so quick.  The longest part was waiting for them to be printed.  I just sent my to Walmart but you can print at home and i know My Memories offers photo books as well.
Here they are framed (I want to paint them but haven't decided on a color)
and a close up of each
