Hello all of you Craft Spot readers! I'm so excited to be with you today showing you a great way to decorate for all the seasons without breaking the bank. Before we get to that, let me introduce myself. I'm Kaysi from Keeping It Simple.

I'm a SAHM of three boys and love what I do. I love to do crafts, it's a way to express myself. I just love to create!
So today I'm going to show you a tutorial on how to make this:
For the vases:
This is how I made them:
1) I got 2 vases and 2 candle sticks
2) I decided to decorate the glass a little bit so I put rub-ons on the vases (these are different rub-ons, but same process)
3) Then using a Popsicle stick, I transferred the rub-ons onto the glass
4) I wanted more color, so I spray painted the candle sticks brown
5) Using an epoxy glue, I glued the two together. I let them dry with the books on them over night.
6) Using plastic eggs and Easter grass I filled the vase. I splattered painted the eggs with a brown for a little more texture and color. I didn't put rub-ons on the other side, so I can just turn it around and fill it with something else.
For the wood blocks:
1) I took wood of the same thickness and cut them into various sizes, sanded them and painted them white.
2) Using mod podge, I put the paper and letters on the wood
3) My husband drilled a hole in the in the top of three blocks
4) I glued an alligator clip onto the back of the wooden bugs
5) I put metal poles into the holes and clipped the bugs and flower to the pole. I didn't glue them in because I need to be able to rotate them and use them for my other blocks
And just like that I have a decoration that I can keep for three months :)
